🎨✍ Arabic Calligraphy and Drawing Competition – Ebtikar Center for Talent Development
The Ebtikar Center for Talent Development is pleased to announce the launch of the Arabic Calligraphy and Drawing Competition, aimed at encouraging artistic creativity among students, fostering their skills in Arabic calligraphy and drawing, and showcasing their talents in artistic expression.
📌 Competition Categories:
✍ Arabic Calligraphy Category:
Participants will compete in writing selected phrases using one of the following Arabic calligraphy styles:
✅ Naskh
✅ Ruqa’a
✅ Diwani
✅ Kufic
✅ Thuluth
✅ Farsi
🔹 Writing Requirements:
The text must be handwritten without using any digital programs or printing.
Only black or blue ink is allowed, with the option to use artistic shading tools.
The writing should be on A4 or A3-sized paper, preferably high-quality paper designed for Arabic calligraphy.
🎨 Drawing Category:
Participants are required to submit an original artwork reflecting one of the following creative themes:
✅ Nature and scenic landscapes
✅ Heritage and culture
✅ Expression of emotions and humanity
✅ Abstract or free art
🔹 Drawing Requirements:
The artwork must be hand-drawn without using any digital programs.
The following tools are allowed:
✔ Colored pencils
✔ Watercolors
✔ Oil paints
✔ Acrylic colors
✔ Charcoal
✔ Graphite pencils
✔ Ink pens and markers
The drawing should be on A3 or A2-sized paper, preferably specialized drawing paper to ensure quality.
✅ Competition Rules:
✔ The competition is open to all age groups of students enrolled in the center.
✔ Submitted works must be original and not copied or adapted.
✔ Digital programs are not allowed for calligraphy or drawing.
✔ Entries must be submitted before the deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.
✔ The judging committee reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the criteria or conflicts with ethical and cultural values.

2️⃣ Submit your artwork at the center’s headquarters, including:
Participant’s name
Age group
Contact number
Artwork title (for drawings)
3️⃣ Entries will be evaluated by a specialized jury based on creativity, precision, and innovation.
4️⃣ Winners will be announced and honored at a special awards ceremony.
